This sinking boat of us

How far are we?

On this lovely night, under the lonesome bliss of distant candle

This sinking boat is all that we can handle

Even this black water drowning us, is here so we can call it ours

Is this a dream of dreadful consequences?

You and me, surrounded by hopes and fireflies

With nothing more to care about that the embers of a blind fire

The last desires can be so calm and quiet

Little stars and distorted reflections, is what we are?

We used to brag about our perfection

But then again, this could be just a mind recollection

So I’ll remain calm and I will wait for the river annihilate this sinking boat of us…
