Mourning

on

Dim lights all around me
A million voices speaking silent words
Not a single smile left behind

A wither bed
An elegant rose

I’ve been shouting for ages
No one seams to notice
Everyone is leaving
Just a few of my kin remain

A wither paint
An elegant cross

Now, there is only silence
The dim lights are fading one by one
And on this deep darkness
I will be mourning myself gladly.

This piece reminds me of Simon and Garfunkel’s Sound of Silence. Very cool 👍
